In Luxor, begin at Karnak Temple, a sprawling complex of columns, obelisks, and sacred lakes. Cross to the West Bank for Valley of the Kings—your ticket includes entry to three royal tombs (guide explains outside; photography rules vary). Continue to the elegant Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari and the towering Colossi of Memnon. Enjoy a local lunch and choose an optional Nile boat ride or short felucca cruise for river views. The pace is comfortable, with cold water on board and rest stops along the way. Return to Hurghada in the early evening—tired, happy, and full of stories.
