Rescue Diver

Prerequisites and Equipment:

To take this course, you must:

• be at least 12 years old
• have an Advanced Open Water certification or another qualifying certification with 20 logged dives
• be trained and current for first aid and CPR (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation) within the previous two years
• possess or rent all basic scuba gear including accessories and a dive computer

Rescue Diver Course Program:    

Building upon your preexisting knowledge, this course expands on what you already know about how to prevent problems and how to manage them in case they occur. The course will teach you self rescue, recognizing and managing other divers’ stress, emergency management and equipment, rescuing panicked divers and rescuing unresponsive divers. This means it is not only a step forward and another certificate in your diving career, it also enables you to really save lives!
