Night Diver

Prerequisites and Equipment:

To take the Deep Diver course, you must:

• be at least 12 years old
• have already an Open Water Diver certification or another qualifying rating
• possess or rent basic scuba equipment and a dive light

Deep Diver Course Program:

Diving in the darkness of the night is a very special and exciting experience and makes the underwater world look very different from what you have seen in broad daylight. Under the glow of your dive light you can explore the nightly reef and watch some creatures that come outside only after sunset. You will learn how to plan and organize such a night trip and we will tell you about the necessary procedures and techniques and the problems that could occur. Also you will learn how to control your buoyancy at night, how to navigate, and how you can get into the water and out again. Further we will teach you about the nocturnal marine life as you will see many new plants and animals.
