Cavern Diver Course Program:
Exploring caverns is a very special and exciting adventure that not every diver can master. As diving in a cave demands special skills and carries certain risks you might not be familiar with. So it is very important to have the necessary knowledge and skills. During this course you will learn diving in a cave, but anyway within its light zone, the area near the entrance where you can still see natural light. We will teach you cavern navigation and line protocols, planning, organizing, techniques, problems and hazards of cavern diving and the use of the special equipment, such as lights, reels, guidelines and redundant breathing systems. Further you will learn everything about air sharing, disorientation, silting, line problems and other emergency procedures specific to cavern diving. You will get the information about the depth and distant limits for cavern diving and you will be taught how to minimize the risks by mastering silt prevention, buoyancy control, air management and certain emergency procedures. You will make four training dives, one for learning how to handle the new equipment and emergency situations that could occur, and three dives inside a cavern, within the light zone and 40 meters total distance from the surface.
