Adventure Diver

Prerequisites and Equipment:

To take this course, you must:

• be at least 15 years old (10 for the Junior Adventure Diver)
• have an Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver certification
• possess or rent all basic scuba gear including accessories and a dive computer; what you need also depends on which three adventure dives you pick; you might for example need underwater photography equipment or underwater scooters

Adventure Diver Course Program: 

The Adventure Diver course helps you get more out of diving by introducing you to new types of scuba diving adventures. You will improve scuba diving skills and gain more experience and confidence. You can participate in three adventure dives of your choice; so you will strengthen your skills and learn and try something new according to your interests. You will enjoy diving more than ever before. Each adventure dive includes a theoretical lesson and an open water dive

The following adventure dives are available:

For scuba divers 10 years old and older:

• AWARE Fish Identification
• Boat Diver
• Digital Underwater Photography
• Dry Suit Diver
• Peak Performance Buoyancy
• Underwater Naturalist
• Underwater Navigator

For scuba divers 12 years old and older:

• Diver Propulsion Vehicle
• Drift Diver
• Multilevel Diver
• Night Diver
• Search and Recovery Diver
• Underwater Videography

For scuba divers 15 years old and older:

• Deep Diver
• Wreck Diver

After your Adventure Diver certification you can take the next step by completing two more adventure dives. If you’ve completed five total adventure dives that include Deep Diver and Underwater Navigation, you are an Advanced Open Water Diver! Also you can use your new skills to obtain a Specialty Diver certification, such as the Night Diver for the Night Diver Specialty.
