Diving in Samadai Reef
We will pick you up directly from the entrance door of your hotel in Marsa Alam; you will recognize our driver by a sign with your name in his hand. You will be transferred in an air-conditioned vehicle to the jelly from where you will take a boat to the Samadai Reef in theRed Sea. The water temperatures in the Red Sea are high enough to go diving and snorkeling the whole year round.
If your destination, the Samadai Reef, is a horseshoe-shaped reef basking off the coast south of Marsa Alam. Its corals and sponge-covered walls form a shallow turquoise cove. A clever reef protection politic has preserved a great variety of corals, plants and animals.
After a short briefing, you’ll take your equipment and jump into the water. As you waft over the seabed, you’ll glide past rainbow-bright corals, swaying sponges and strange rock pinnacles, all alive with flamboyant fish like angelfish, damselfish and other exotic marine species. The highlight, though, will be to spot the dolphins who come here frequently, so it’s a great chance to observe these beautiful mammals in their natural habitat. There’s no guarantee that you will see them, but the longer you’re here, the higher your chances.
You will make two dives in different popular and well-known diving places or sunken ships conquered by the nature, and a competent instructor will help you to explore all the big and small underwater wonders of the Red Sea.
This trip is bookable both for divers and snorkelers!
You will have lunch and soft drinks aboard.
